- 24 thin asparagus spears trimmed to 5 inch lengths
- 12 slice thin white bread
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dill weed
- 1 tsp tarragon leaves
Directions

1Cook asparagus in boiling water for 1 minute.

2Rinse with cold water.

3Trim crusts from bread slices.

4Flatten slices with a rolling pin.

5Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, dill weed and tarragon.

6Spread mixture evenly on both sides of bread.

7Place 2 asparagus spears on center of each bread slice.

8Carefully roll up and secure with wooden toothpick.

9Place on baking sheet.

10Bake at 450F for 8 minutes or until golden.

11Remove toothpicks before serving.
