- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
- nutmeg (optional)
Directions

1Combine eggs, salt and flavoring.

2Beat, beat, beat until mixture begins to look thick.

3Gradually add sugar and beat constantly.

4Scald milk and pour into mixture, stirring as you pour milk in.

5Pour into unbaked pie shell.

6This will seem to be too much, but add it all.

7It does not bubble or run over.

8Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 350°.

9The pie will shake like jello when done. Sprinkle top with nutmeg if desired.
