  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 2 sticks creamy butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream together sugar, Crisco and butter and add eggs, one at a time.

    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.

    Add the creamed mixture to the flour mixture.

    Add milk and vanilla.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on oven.
