  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice

Directions

    Cook all ingredients except lemon juice in top of double boiler until it begins to thicken.

    Add lemon juice and cook a little longer.

    Cool before pouring into baked pie shell.

    Top with stiffly beaten egg whites and brown in 350° oven.
