Ingredients

  • 15 oz can of chick peas drained
  • 2 avocados peeled and pitted
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin plus 1 tbsp for topping
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 -3 tbsp fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red pepper flakes for topping
  • 1 pita bread, pita chips, tortillas, pretzels or assorted veggies for dipping

Directions

    Place all ingredients except olive oil and red pepper flakes for topping in a food processor and cream all ingredients until really smooth.

    Drizzle reserved 1 tbsp olive and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
