- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 avocados, peeled, pitted and diced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions

1In a food processor, combine garlic, chickpeas, lemon juice and zest and 2 tablespoons of tahini.

2Blend until smooth: add salt (to taste).

3Add avocado to chickpea mixture in food processor and process just until smooth.

4Taste to add salt, if desired.

5Transfer to serving bowl; top with olive oil.

6Serve with tortilla chips, pita slices or your choice of crackers.

7Makes about 2 cups.
