  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 2 large avocados, cut up
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Directions

    Place 1 1/2 cups of the chicken broth and the remaining ingredients in blender or food processor.

    Cover and blend on medium speed, or process, until smooth.

    Stir remaining broth into avocado mixture.

    Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.

    Garnish with sour cream and paprika or avocado slices if desired.
