  • 2 pounds beef chuck cubed
  • 13 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large onions cut in eighths
  • 3 each carrots peeled, split
  • 4 stalks celery cut up
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 13 cup tapioca, quick-cooking
  • 4 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cans soup, tomato
  • 1 cup beef stock

    Wipe beef cubes well.

    Combine bread crumbs with salt and pepper and toss with beef.

    Place coated beef cubes in Crock-Pot and add remaining ingredients; stir well.
