  • 1/4 lb. thinly sliced bacon
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans baked beans
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. dark molasses
  • 1 tsp. mustard

Directions

    Fry the bacon until crispy.

    Remove and cut into 1-inch pieces.

    Add onion, green pepper and celery to drippings.

    Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes or until tender.

    Drain off grease.

    Add bacon and bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
