- 1/2 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
- 6 slices crisp cooked bacon, coarsely crumbled
- 2 c. packaged biscuit mix
- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Directions

1Stir cheese and bacon into dry mix.

2Prepare dough according to package directions for rich biscuits, substituting bacon drippings for salad oil.

3Knead as directed for rolled biscuits. Roll out to a 10 x 6-inch rectangle.

4Cut into six 10-inch strips, 1-inch wide.

5Cut each into thirds crosswise to make 18 bars. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.

6Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
