Bacon Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can wax beans
  • 1 can baby limas
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. bacon, fried and chopped

    Rinse kidney beans.

    Quarter and thinly slice onion; thinly slice bell pepper.

    Blend vinegar, sugar and salt in small pan; heat until sugar dissolves.

    Set aside to cool.

    Drain all beans; toss with onions, peppers, pepper and vinegar mix.

    Pour in oil and toss again.

    Just before serving, add bacon and toss again.
