  • 2 qt. OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
  • 1-1/2 qt. onions, chopped
  • 1-1/2 qt. green peppers, chopped
  • 1/3 cup garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1-1/2 gal. Canned hominy, rinsed, drained
  • 3 qt. tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 qt. KRAFT CHEDASHARP Pasteurized Process American Cheese Shred

    Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp.

    Remove bacon from skillet, reserving 1/3 cup of the drippings in skillet (or 1 Tbsp.

    for trial recipe).

    Add onion, green pepper, garlic and black pepper to drippings in skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.

    Add bacon, hominy and tomatoes; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.

    Transfer hominy mixture mixture to full size hotel pan (or half-size pan for trial recipe); top with process cheese.
