Bacon Cheese Quiche

  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheese (Cheddar and finely shredded Swiss)
  • pie shell (frozen)
  • 5 to 6 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp. dill
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Bake pie shell for 5 minutes at 350°.

    Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded cheese in pie shell and melt.

    Sprinkle bacon pieces and onion in pie shell.

    Add 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese over bacon and onion.

    In a separate bowl, mix whipping cream, eggs, dill, pepper and salt with a beater.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Then reduce heat to 325° and bake an additional 20 minutes until firm.
