Bacon Chicken Corn Chowder

- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped very well
- 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles(14.5 oz)
- 1 cup corn(canned or frozen)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- 3 slices of bacon cooked to crispiness and diced into small pieces
- 2 1/2 cup chicken that had been cooked and diced
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tortilla chips to break into soup
Directions

1Melt butter and sautee onion for 5-7 minutes in a large soup/stock pot.

2Add next 8 ingredients and simmer over low-medium heat until cream cheese is thoroughly melted.

3Add chicken, bacon and cheese to pot and continue to simmer another 5 minutes.

4Serve with crushed tortilla chips.
