Bacon Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. bacon drippings
  • diced pimento

Directions

    Cook bacon crisp and crumble.

    Reserve 1/4 cup drippings.

    Beat eggs, vinegar, water, sugar and salt until blended.

    Add drippings. Cook over low heat until thick.

    Store dressing and bacon in separate containers.

    Use on green beans as a hot dressing and sprinkle with bacon and pimento.

    Use cold as a toss salad dressing adding bacon and pimento.
