  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 tbsp. mustard
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • Bacon pieces
  • 3/4 cup canola
  • olive oil
  • 1 dash sugar
  • 1 dash chopped thyme

Directions

    Chop, cook, cool, strain and reserve fat from bacon.

    In a food processor, combine mustard, garlic, shallot, vinegar, and bacon.

    Puree to smooth consistency, slowly adding canola or olive oil as necessary.

    Finally, add bacon fat, sugar and thyme.
