Bacon-Leek Soup

- 3 to 4 slices bacon
- 2 leeks (tops included)
- 1 carton mushrooms, cut in half
- 5 c. water
- 1 pkg. instant potato soup
Directions

1Cut slices of bacon into bits and place in stewpot.

2Saute until almost done.

3In the meantime, clean and cut up leeks, including the green part.

4Add to bacon.

5Saute until limp.

6Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.

7Then add water and salt and pepper to taste.

8Simmer for 30 minutes.
