Bacon Pesto Spaghetti

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 5 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
  • 8 black olives, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, torn
  • parmesan cheese, curls to garnish
  • salt and black pepper

Directions

    Cook spaghetti in a pan of boiling water as per pack instructions.

    Meanwhile, place bacon slices under a pre-heated broiler and cook for approximately 1-2 minutes each side.

    Cut into large pieces.

    Spoon the pesto on to drained spaghetti and toss together with bacon, olives and basil leaves.

    Garnish with parmesan and season.
