- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 lb. hot sausage
- 1/2 to 2/3 lb. sliced bacon
Directions

1Melt butter in water in saucepan.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir into stuffing, then add egg and sausage.

4Blend thoroughly. Chill for about an hour for easier handling.

5Then shape into small oblongs, about the size of pecans.

6Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise; wrap one piece around dressing mixture and fasten with wooden pick.

7Place on rack in shallow pan and bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp, turning at halfway point in cooking.

8Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

9May be made the day before baking; also freezes well before baking.
