- 1 pound beef, round steak
- 1 x dijon mustard
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 each onions sliced
- 1 x salt
- 1 x black pepper
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1 x vegetable shortening
Directions

1Slice top round paper thin in 8 x 6 inch strips.

2Liberally spread mustard over slices of meat.

3Saute bacon in skillet until fat is translucent, but bacon is not crisp.

4Can do in microwave for one minute.

5Place a strip of bacon on each slice of meat.

6Distribute onions equally on slices of meat.

7Roll meat and tie.

8Season flour with salt and pepper to taste.

9Sprinkle flour mixture over meat rolls.

10Melt shortening in fyring pan and brown meat on all sides.

11Add enough water to half cover meat rolls.

12Simmer for 20 minutes, turning.
