Bacon-Wrapped Chestnuts

  • 2 or 3 cans whole water chestnuts
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Cut bacon strips in thirds.

    Wrap each strip around a water chestnut and poke with toothpick to hold.

    Set single layer in glass dish or cake pan.

    Heat in oven for 20 minutes at 400°. Remove and drain.

    Combine 3 other ingredients and pour on chestnuts.

    Return to oven for 20 minutes at 400°.
