Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

  • 2 cans water chestnuts (whole)
  • 1 lb. thick bacon, cut in half
  • 14 oz. bottle ketchup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce

Directions

    Mix together ketchup, sugar and barbecue sauce.

    Wrap each water chestnuts in 1/2 slice bacon.

    Secure with a toothpick. Bake in oven on cookie sheet at 350° for 1/2 hour.

    Drain grease from cookie sheet.

    Pour sauce over water chestnuts and cook additional 15 minutes.
