Baharat Turkey Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 steaks turkey
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2/3 cup feta cheese crushed
  • 4 tablespoons baharat * seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon mint leaves chopped dried
  • 1 tablespoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

Directions

    Flatten the steaks carefully with a meat mallet.

    Place 2 slices of bacon on each steak, sprinkle with feta cheese.

    Roll the steak into a roll and secure with a metal or wooden toothpicks.

    Mix baharat and salt. Coat the rolls with the baharat on all sides.

    Very briefly saute the garlic in a mixture of oil and butter (to infuse it with the garlic aroma), Take the garlic out of the fat.

    Saute rolls in the oil and butter mixture for about 5 minutes on each side or until done.

    Before serving take toothpicks out of the meat.
