- 1 washed and cored apple
- 2 tablespoons water or 2 tablespoons juice
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 8 raisins
- cinnamon, to taste

1Preheat the oven (or toaster oven) to 375.

2Place the apple in a small oven safe bowl or dish.

3Spoon the liquid into the dish beneath the apple.

4Layer the sugar, raisins, and cinnamon in the center of the apple, sprinkling the excess sugar (with a touch of cinnamon) over the top.

5Cover the entire dish with foil and bake until tender, about 20 minutes (for a small apple.).
