- 2 cups water, boiling
- 2 cups skim milk
- 2 cups oatmeal (not quick cooking)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 2 apples, chopped (or use pears)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions

1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Combine water, milk, oats and salt in casserole.

3Let stand for 5 minutes.

4Stir in remaining ingredients.

5Bake covered for 45 minutes.

6Uncover for last 5 minutes of baking.

7Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
