- 4 medium to large tart apples
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions

1Wash apples. Core.

2Remove a thin strip of the peel from around the center of apple to prevent the peel from bursting. Pour 1/2-inch water into baking pan; fill the centers of apples with the sugar.

3Cover and bake at 375° until done. For a good glaze over apples leave cover off and spoon syrup over apples every 10 minutes.

4Test by piercing with a toothpick.

5Serve for breakfast with cream.
