- 2 cups Dried Beans
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 cups Tomato Sauce (or Juice)
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 cup Cooked Diced Pork, Ham, Bacon, Or Sausage
Directions

1Rinse and drain beans. Place in a slow cooker together with sugar, tomato sauce, onion, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook 10-12 hours on low. Add your choice of cooked meat and simmer 1 hour longer.

2If you want the beans to get done faster, or if they are too runny after 10 hours, transfer them to an oven-safe dish and bake uncovered at 325°F, stirring occasionally, just until thickened.
