Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups dried white beans
  • 12 lb bacon
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 12 cup beer
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons catsup
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Soak the beans overnight.

    Drain in the morning and cover with fresh water and simmer for half an hour.

    Dice the bacon and cook in a frying pan until crisp, reserve 3 Tbsp of the drippings.

    Combine all ingredients with the beans and place in a buttered baking dish.

    Cover and bake at 250 degrees farenheit for 3-6 hours, cook uncovered for the last hour of cooking.
