  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. brown beans
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 4 pieces bacon
  • 1 large bottle catsup
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 box brown sugar

Directions

    Soak overnight 1 to 1 1/2 pounds brown beans or kidney beans. In morning, cook until tender; about 2 hours, drain.

    Add 1 large bottle catsup, 1/2 box brown sugar, 1 teaspoon mustard, onion and 4 pieces of bacon cut small.

    Bake in oven until bubbly, about 1 hour at 325°.
