  • 1 large can Van Camp's pork and beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1/2 bottle ketchup
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • dash of hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Fry the bacon.

    Crumble into beans.

    Saute onion and bell pepper.

    Add to bean mixture.

    Add remaining ingredients to beans. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.

    Then bake at 250° for another hour.
