- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) Brie cheese
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Let pastry sheet come to room temperature.

3Roll pastry out to 1/8-inch thick.

4Cut out circle 8 to 9-inches in diameter.

5Place cheese in center of pastry, wrapping pastry around cheese and pinching edges to seal.

6Decorate pastry case with scraps of pastry cut in various shapes.

7Place pastry on ungreased baking sheet and immediately reduce oven temperature to 400°.

8Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve with crackers or fresh sliced apples or pears.
