- 1 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) head cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. hot milk
- 1 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Butter a shallow baking dish.

3Cut cabbage into 12 wedges.

4Pour water into large skillet.

5Bring to a boil.

6Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and cabbage.

7Cook, covered, over medium heat for 10 minutes; drain well.

8Put into baking dish. Sprinkle with mixture of flour, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper.

9Dot with butter.

10Pour hot milk over.

11Sprinkle with cheese.

12Bake 35 minutes at 350°.
