- 6 c. cabbage, cut up
- 3 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 lb. white American cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cover cabbage with 1 quart boiling water, plus 1 teaspoon salt; boil 5 minutes.

2Drain well.

3Melt oleo and add flour; mix well.

4Add 1 cup milk, white sauce should not be too thick.

5Place cabbage in baking dish; add cheese and stir until melted.

6Pour white sauce over cabbage, stir lightly. Cover with buttered bread crumbs.

7Bake at 350° approximately 45 minutes or until brown.
