- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Melt margarine.

2Stir in brown sugar, Karo and salt.

3Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

4Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat.

5Stir in vanilla.

6Bake in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

7Cool.

8Yields 5 quarts.
