  • 8 medium carrots, scraped
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Halve carrots lengthwise and place in shallow baking dish. Add remaining ingredients.

    Cover tightly with foil and bake 45 to 50 minutes at 400°.

    Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons snipped parsley (optional) and serve.
