Baked Chicken Sandwich

- 1 1/2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (15 oz.) can chicken gravy
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. sliced water chestnuts
- 20 slices bread
- 4 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 (10 oz.) bag potato chips
Directions

1Mix the chicken, mushroom soup, gravy, pimento, onion and water chestnuts together.

2Cut crusts from bread.

3Spread mixture on 10 slices of bread and cover with the other 10 slices.

4Wrap individual sandwiches in plastic wrap or wax paper and freeze.

5At serving time, dip the sandwiches, still frozen, in a mixture of beaten eggs and milk.

6Coat with crushed potato chips and place on a buttered cookie sheet.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour.

8Makes 10 sandwiches.
