Baked Cinnamon Apples

  • 6 small cooking apples
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. fructose
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Wash and core apples; remove peeling from the top 1/3 of each apple.

    Arrange in dish large enough to hold them.

    In a saucepan, bring water, vanilla, cinnamon and fructose to a boil and pour over apples.

    Bake for 1 hour in 350° oven.

    Baste frequently. These are especially good, especially for diabetics.
