Baked Clam Spread

Ingredients
- 2 small cans minced clams
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Put clams and lemon juice in saucepan and simmer 15 minutes. Drain clams and save liquid.

2In saucepan, put liquid from clams, butter and all ingredients except bread crumbs.

3Bring to a boil. Add clams and stir.

4Add bread crumbs and mix thoroughly.

5Empty saucepan into 1-quart baking dish and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Let cool and serve warm on crackers.
