Baked Cod With Tomatoes

- 4 cod fillets
- 1 medium size onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. dried leaf basil, crumbled
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp. dried leaf oregano, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper

1Preheat oven to 450°.

3In medium size pan, saute onion and garlic for 3 to 5 minutes until softened. Add drained and chopped tomatoes and balance of ingredients.
