- 1 recipe cornbread
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/4 c. chicken or turkey stock or canned consomme
Directions

1Bake Homestead Yellow Cornbread (see recipe in this cookbook), crumble when cool in a 2-quart bowl.

2Lightly brown onions and celery in margarine or butter.

3Add eggs, pepper and poultry seasoning to the crumbled cornbread.

4Add the onions and celery. Add chicken or turkey stock.

5Stir and pour into a well-greased pan (6 or 8-inch square).

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or browned to your liking.
