  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. hot milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • nutmeg, as desired

    Combine eggs, honey and salt.

    Stir in the milk gradually. Add vanilla.

    Pour into custard cups.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Set cups in a pan of hot water.

    Bake at 325° (slow oven) 30 to 40 minutes or until the tip of a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
