  • 6 eggs
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Heat milk.

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar and salt.

    Add hot milk slowly.

    Add vanilla.

    Pour into a Pyrex casserole (1-quart). Set in pan of cold water.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    (Pour through a strainer.)
