- 3 c. whole milk
- 6 eggs
- 9 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Scald milk; mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla. Beat well.

2Slowly blend egg mixture into the hot milk in sauce pan.

3Fill custard cups and place in water bath in large baking pan.

4Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.

5After removing custard from oven, sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
