- 1 (7 oz.) round Gouda
- 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Cut cheese round in half crosswise to form 2 circles; remove wax.

2Separate dough into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.

3Place one rectangle on top of second; repeat with remaining rectangles.

4Press each into a 6-inch square; place cheese circle in center of each.

5Pull corners of dough to top center of cheese.

6Press dough tightly against center to seal, twisting off excess dough.

7Brush with beaten egg.

8Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

9Bake at 350° for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
