- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. ground cloves
- 2 Tbsp. powdered cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. dried mustard
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- peach pickle juice or apple cider
Directions

1Cut rind off ham.

2Combine dry ingredients and add enough juice to make a dough that can be rolled over fat.

3Cover part of ham with dough.

4Put in cold oven.

5Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes per pound, 4 or 5 hours for a 15 pound ham, basting every 30 minutes.

6Take dough off and finish with brown sugar or any favorite way of browning ham.
