Baked Lasagna

  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • cottage cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef, garlic and onion.

    Drain off grease and add sausage, tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Cook lasagna noodles until tender; drain.

    Mix eggs and cottage cheese.

    Arrange lasagna in baking dish in layers, alternating with layers of meat sauce, cottage cheese, then another layer of noodles, sauce and cottage cheese until you have 4 layers.

    Then top off with Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.
