Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 - 16 oz. pkg. mozzarella cheese
- 1 - 16 oz. container ricotta or cottage cheese
Directions

1Brown meat and onion.

2Drain well.

3Add all other ingredients except noodles and cheeses.

4Simmer at least one hour.

5Add ricotta or cottage cheese.

6Cook noodles according to package directions.

7In large casserole dish, layer noodles, meat sauce, and half of mozzarella cheese.

8Repeat layers, ending with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

9Let sit for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
