Baked Orange Cream

  • 1 None orange, juiced (about 1/3 cup) and with half the zest removed
  • 2 None medium eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream

Directions

    Cut the orange zest into fine shavings, drop them into a bowl of water and refrigerate. Beat the eggs and the sugar together, then stir in the cream and the orange juice.

    Pour the mixture into four individual oven-proof ramekins. Place them in a deep baking tray filled with hot water, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 30 mins. Remove from the oven, allow to cool, then refrigerate. Just before serving, decorate with the orange zest.
