- 2 c. sliced raw peaches
- 3/4 c. plus 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Place sliced peaches in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Combine 3/4 cup sugar and margarine.

3Add baking powder, flour and milk. Spread over peaches.

4Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt. Sprinkle mixture over batter in pan.

5Pour boiling water over all and bake at 325° for 50 minutes.

6Serve warm.
