Baked Peach Pudding

  • 2 c. sliced raw peaches
  • 3/4 c. plus 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. boiling water

Directions

    Place sliced peaches in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Combine 3/4 cup sugar and margarine.

    Add baking powder, flour and milk. Spread over peaches.

    Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt. Sprinkle mixture over batter in pan.

    Pour boiling water over all and bake at 325° for 50 minutes.

    Serve warm.
