Baked Pineapple

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
  • 7 or 8 slices bread

Directions

    Mix together sugar and flour.

    Add to beaten eggs and pineapple.

    Pour mixture into buttered casserole.

    Melt butter or margarine in frying pan.

    Cut bread slices in small squares.

    Stir in hot butter until brown.

    Put on top of pineapple mixture.

    Bake one-half to three-quarters of an hour in moderate oven.
